A classic Grimm’s fairy tale is sculpted to life in the hands of two master puppeteers who possess a degree of craftsmanship and theatrical virtuosity that have earned them a special place in the pantheon of Festival favorites. Using only clay, twigs, feathers, pearls, and a particularly familiar doll, the struggle between a king maddened by his selfish princess daughter plays out – a struggle that remains undecided as long as both still have power!
